Platfom

As a conservative Republican and current Yavapai County Attorney, I am dedicated to upholding the core values that form the foundation of our country and community. Rooted in principles of limited government, individual responsibility, and public safety, I present the following Zero Tolerance For Crime platform to address key issues and ensure the well-being of Yavapai County.

Law and Order

  • Oppose any efforts to defund the police and work towards reinforcing their role in keeping our streets safe.

  • Oppose any “woke” efforts to bring California/Seattle/Portland style “criminal justice” reforms to this state or community. This includes any so-called woke efforts to “focus on the serious crimes” at the expense of forgetting the smaller crimes like shoplifting. This leads to civil disorder.

  • Prioritize the safety of our community by advocating for strong law enforcement measures.

  • Support our police forces by advocating for the necessary resources, training, and equipment to maintain public order.

Illegal Immigration

  • Support any effort to complete the border wall, either by federal or state officials. Not only would this stop the record levels of illegal immigration, it would work to eliminate the scourge of drugs coming across our border, including fentanyl, which is responsible for killing over 100,000 Americans each year.

  • Continue support for Sheriff’s 287(g) program to identify and deport illegal aliens.

Victim-Centered Justice

  • Redouble efforts on child sex crimes, including the death penalty for child molesters and child sex traffickers.

  • Advocate for the constitutional rights of victims by ensuring they have a prominent voice in the legal process.

  • Strengthen partnerships with law enforcement to swiftly and decisively bring perpetrators to justice.

  • Support legislation that prioritizes the rights of victims and holds criminals accountable for their actions.

Protecting the Second Amendment

  • Defend the constitutional right to bear arms and oppose any restrictions on law-abiding citizens.

  • Work to ensure that the right to responsible gun ownership is preserved.

  • Oppose any legislation that infringes on the rights of law-abiding gun owners.

Fighting Drug Crime and Gang Violence

  • Continue a tough stance against drug-related offenses and work closely with law enforcement to combat the drug epidemic.

  • Support anti-gang initiatives to eradicate criminal organizations that threaten the safety and quality of life of our community.

  • Advocate for stricter penalties for violent offenders and drug dealers, especially fentanyl dealers, to deter criminal activity.

Limited Government and Fiscal Responsibility

  • Continually strive to be the most efficient and accountable County Attorney's Office by eliminating unnecessary bureaucracy throughout the criminal justice system.

  • Continue to advocate for fiscal responsibility to ensure taxpayer dollars are spent wisely, focusing on core responsibilities.

  • Oppose any expansion of government powers that infringe on individual liberties.

Community Partnership

  • Foster collaboration between the County Attorney's office and local community organizations to address social issues.

  • Engage in community outreach programs to promote a sense of shared responsibility for public safety.

  • Work with local leaders to address the unique needs and concerns of our diverse communities.

By adhering to conservative principles, prioritizing law and order, and defending individual rights, I aim to continue to operate a County Attorney's Office that reflects the values of our community and ensures a safe and thriving future for all residents.
